Our ceramics shop is designed to inspire creativity and provide everything makers need to bring their ideas to life.
This fully enclosed secure space, bathed in natural light, will feature high-capacity kilns perfect for firing everything from small pieces to larger works, a 30″ slab roller table for creating smooth, even clay sheets, and a clay extruder for crafting unique shapes with precision.
With professional-grade pottery wheels, compact benchtop wheels, and a dedicated glazing area, this new membership tier offers all the tools and space needed to explore the art of ceramics — whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artisan.
Membership Options
To accommodate the diverse needs and skill levels of our ceramics members, we offer three membership tiers. These are based on the amount of dedicated storage space included in your membership.
- Half Shelf: $175/month — 24″ x 24″ x 18″
- Full Shelf: $250/month — 24″ x 48″ x 18″
- Top Shelf: $300/month — 24″ x 48″ with ~48″ vertical space to the ceiling above the shelf unit; limited availability!
All ceramics memberships include firings, a limited selection of glazes, and community contributed molds & dies, as well as full access to the rest of Asmbly’s shops (woodshop, metal shop, lasers, textiles, 3D printing, and electronics).
*Current Asmbly members must upgrade to one of the above membership options to have access to the ceramics shop outside of classes.
