In Board Game Maker Camp, students design and build original tabletop games from the ground up. Campers use digital design tools and hands-on maker technology to create physical game boards, pieces, and components, then test and refine their games through guided play. This camp blends creativity, problem-solving, and fabrication, giving students a finished, fully playable board game to take home and the skills to keep iterating on their ideas long after camp ends.
Activities Include:
Design it. Build it. Play it.
- Explore game design theories
- Create your own board game from scratch or rebuild a favorite game with a unique twist
- Make your own game pieces, boards, and packaging using traditional art forms blended with innovative fabrication machines and software
- Finish the week with a Game-a-thon — show off your game and play everyone else’s creations!
Schedule Options
Choose a time that works for your family:
- Morning Session: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Let your camper learn, make, and play all day long!
Register for both morning and afternoon sessions and stay from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Please pack a lunch — lunch break is supervised but not provided.
