Education Coordinator

Overview

Asmbly seeks to hire a part-time Education Coordinator (EC) who will help us ensure:

  • class schedules are maintained and meet demand,
  • new classes are developed, and instructors are supported with feedback and curriculum reviews,
  • operations are sustainable long term, and
  • organization’s mission is achieved.

This role focuses on fostering a thriving learning environment through coordination and support. While the EC should have a passion for teaching and be capable of performing educational tasks, their primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of Asmbly’s educational programs. This includes managing schedules, supporting instructors, and overseeing the development of new classes—not by handling everything personally, but by facilitating and empowering others to succeed. In essence, the EC ensures Asmbly’s educational offerings continue to grow and meet the needs of the community.

This is a paid part-time position, requiring 20-30 hours per week, with the flexibility to work up to 10 hours remotely.
